Contract Length:  6 months

Job Summary:  This individual will cover the loading dock to assure flow of critical deliveries / materials.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain all shipping and receiving operations at the loading docks
• Responsible for Returns and Credits processed through the receiving side of the Oracle / APP System
• Interact with customers and vendors to ensure effective customer service
• Maintenance of database files (i.e. mail / lab list for each floor)
• Deliver all mail and packages to individual offices, labs or work areas of staff
• Sort mail and place in individual mailboxes daily
• Operate UPS and FEDEX package system for shipping hazardous / non-hazardous packages

Requirements:

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Team player committed to quality and working effectively with others
• Act in a professional manner and have good customer service, be detailed oriented; well organized; efficient worker with good communication skills including email.
• Knowledge and experience in shipping/receiving and facilities functions
• Working knowledge of mailing systems
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 75 pounds
