About the Role
Individual plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the maintenance and operation of utility systems within a facility. They are responsible for supporting a team of technicians and ensuring the efficient and reliable functioning of utility equipment. The senior technician must possess extensive knowledge and experience in utility systems, along with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of utility systems to identify potential issues and develop preventive maintenance plans.
- Troubleshoot complex problems with utility systems and equipment, and provide technical expertise to resolve issues.
- Coordinate with other departments and external vendors to schedule repairs, maintenance, and equipment upgrades.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to optimize the performance and lifespan of utility systems.
- Monitor utility systems and equipment performance, analyzing data and making recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
