Contract Length:  3+ months, 100% remote position

Job Summary:  This person will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple projects within the operations organization. Oversee all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop and implement project management strategies, plans, and objectives in alignment with organizational goals and customer requirements. Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and coordination.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and establish clear metrics to measure project performance.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial targets.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality assurance, and business development, to ensure seamless program execution. Interface with external stakeholders, including government agencies, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to establish strong working relationships and manage expectations.
  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports, presentations, and executive briefings to keep stakeholders informed of program progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in BA or Organizational Design
  • Proven experience in project management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and experience in identifying and mitigating program risks
  • Understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting and cost control
