Job Summary: This person will build, test, troubleshoot, and continuously improve custom actuator systems, high-performance motor assemblies, and complex robotic structures.

Job Summary: This person will build, test, troubleshoot, and continuously improve custom actuator systems, high-performance motor assemblies, and complex robotic structures.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical motor systems, gearboxes, actuators, and structural components for the robotic platform.
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to complete builds accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in prototype assembly, design feedback loops, and mechanical refinement of robotic subsystems.
- Operate CNC and manual machines, as well as support fabrication tasks (bending, laser etching, potting).
- Support and maintain assembly and test stations, ensuring equipment is calibrated and workspace is safe and organized.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of hands-on mechanical assembly or prototyping experience in robotics, motorsports, aerospace, or similar high-performance environments.
- Deep understanding of motor systems, electromechanical actuators, gears, bearings, and precision mechanical components.
- Proficiency with hand tools, mechanical measurement tools, and interpreting complex technical drawings.
- Experience in mechanical troubleshooting and issue resolution, including conducting basic test procedures independently.
- Comfortable working with CNC equipment, custom tooling, and CAD-based fixture design (SolidWorks or CATIA).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
