About the Role
The hiring manager is looking for candidates with experience supporting inventory control within a manufacturing environment. This is more than a traditional warehouse role, as the individual will play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting production operations.Key Responsibilities
- 2+ years of inventory, warehouse, or stockroom experience in a manufacturing environment
- Shipping & Receiving experience
- Cleanroom experience preferred
- Experience maintaining inventory counts and accuracy
- Cycle counting and inventory control
- Inventory transactions
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (QAD is highly preferred)
Required Qualifications
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (QAD is highly preferred)
- Experience with Kanban replenishment systems
- Knowledge of backflushing
- Strong computer skills with the ability to research and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Production, Quality, and other departments
