Schedule: 1st Shift Available (7:00am - 3:30pm) | 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (with overtime available)

the organization, a leading precision manufacturer in Methuen, MA, is seeking an experienced CNC Set-Up Milling Machinist to join our growing team. If you are highly skilled in CNC milling setups, troubleshooting, and working independently in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities
- Set up CNC milling machines independently for production runs (no lathe/turning work).
- Troubleshoot and resolve set-up and machining issues as they arise.
- Perform accurate first-piece inspections to ensure setups meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Operate and verify precision measuring equipment (calipers, micro height gauges, depth gauges, etc.).
- Understand and interpret basic "G" code (programming skills are not required), including:
- G00 - Rapid positioning (move quickly to a spot without cutting)
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience setting up CNC milling centers.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
- 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (with overtime available)

In accordance with applicable pay transparency requirements, the anticipated compensation for this role is $25.00 - $28.00/hr, based on experience and qualifications.
