About the Role
We are seeking a CAD Engineer II to support the development and maintenance of an enterprise electronics component library used for PCB assembly design. This role will focus on creating and maintaining schematic symbols and PCB footprints using Cadence tools while supporting engineers across multiple locations and time zones.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Cadence Allegro, electronic component datasheets, PCB footprints, schematic symbols, and engineering library management.

Compensation
In accordance with applicable pay transparency requirements, the anticipated hourly rate for this role is $46.00–$48.00/hr, based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Create PCB footprints by interpreting electronic component datasheets, application notes, and mechanical drawings
- Develop schematic symbols for electrical schematic design
- Build and maintain accurate component symbols and footprints for use by electrical engineering teams
- Support and maintain electronic library revision control processes
- Troubleshoot library-related issues and provide technical support to engineering teams
- Maintain high standards for component data accuracy, consistency, and documentation
- Support a global engineering organization working across multiple projects and time zones
- Experience creating schematic symbols and PCB footprints
- Working knowledge of electronic component datasheets and mechanical drawings
- Experience with PCB/electronics library management
- Strong mathematical and technical aptitude
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering services environment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Hands-on experience with Cadence Allegro
- Experience with Cadence System Capture
- Knowledge of Cadence Pulse
- AutoCAD experience
- Experience supporting electronics or PCB design engineering teams
