This role will assess vendor risk, monitor quality performance, support risk mitigation, and help strengthen vendor quality processes, systems, and reporting. The ideal candidate has strong experience with supplier quality, third-party risk assessment, vendor performance metrics, and GMP/GDP compliance.

Compensation
In accordance with applicable pay transparency requirements, the anticipated hourly rate for this role is $60.00–$65.00/hr, based on experience and qualifications.

This role will assess vendor risk, monitor quality performance, support risk mitigation, and help strengthen vendor quality processes, systems, and reporting. The ideal candidate has strong experience with supplier quality, third-party risk assessment, vendor performance metrics, and GMP/GDP compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor vendor quality metrics, dashboards, and emerging performance trends
- Assess and manage risks associated with third-party suppliers and vendors
- Develop and support processes for vendor risk reporting, mitigation, and escalation
- Lead or contribute to vendor quality process and system improvement initiatives
- Serve as a Vendor Quality SME across cross-functional teams and business forums
- Provide onsite front-room and/or back-room inspection support as needed
- Communicate vendor quality risks, trends, and potential business impacts to stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, allied health, or comparable discipline
- 6+ years of relevant Quality, Supplier Quality, or Vendor Quality experience
- True manager-level experience is required
- Strong knowledge of GMP and GDP regulatory requirements
- Experience with vendor quality metrics, KPIs, and performance monitoring
- Strong experience with third-party or supplier risk assessment
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills applied to risk evaluation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, collaborative environment
- Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience
- Experience managing external vendors, suppliers, or third-party quality relationships
- Experience supporting regulatory inspections
- Experience driving quality process or system improvements
- Experience presenting vendor risk and quality performance to leadership
