Title: Senior Store Planner
Location: Marlborough, MA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – onsite Tuesday and Wednesday
Employment Type: Contract
Hours: 36.25 hours per week

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Store Planner to develop fixture plans and architectural criteria drawings for new stores, relocations, expansions, remodels, and special projects.
This role requires strong retail planning, architectural design, and construction coordination experience, with particular emphasis on Revit and AutoCAD. The Senior Store Planner will make site-specific layout decisions, resolve design and construction challenges, and provide technical guidance to planners and outside consultants.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop fixture plans and architectural drawings for new stores, relocations, expansions, remodels, and special projects
• Analyze site-specific requirements and create efficient store layouts, including support areas and department adjacencies
• Partner with Store Planning, Design, Construction, Operations, and external architects to ensure plans meet project standards, budgets, schedules, and applicable codes
• Troubleshoot site-specific design and construction issues and develop practical solutions
• Review site-survey information and develop design-build plans based on existing conditions
• Provide technical guidance to Store Planners and outside consultants regarding planning standards and prototype requirements
• Ensure accurate and timely distribution, maintenance, and archiving of drawings and project documentation

• 8+ years of related planning experience in retail design, store planning, interior design, architecture, or a closely related field
• Working knowledge of Revit; candidates should clearly describe Revit usage on their resume
• Strong AutoCAD/ACAD experience
• Experience developing architectural or fixture-layout drawings
• Strong understanding of building architecture, construction procedures, and applicable codes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time-management and organizational skills

• Retail store and fixture-layout experience
• Experience working with an architectural firm
• Associate degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering Technology, Interior Design, or equivalent certificate
• Experience coordinating with architects, construction teams, and outside consultants

Compensation
In accordance with applicable pay transparency requirements, the anticipated hourly rate for this role is $38.00–$40.00/hr, based on experience and qualifications.
