Contract Length:  6 months

Job Summary:  This person will perform set-up, operation, shut down and operator maintenance of equipment used.

Responsibilities:
 

• Maintains the ability to perform problem-solving repair rework/modification skills involving circuit card assemblies, wiring assemblies, mechanical assemblies.
• Removal and replacement of sub-assemblies using hand and semi-automated equipment.
• Mechanically and electrically disassemble/reassemble electronic sub-assemblies and units.
• Remove and reapply paint, anodize compounds or conformal coatings on the SRU /LAU/Chassis of military or commercial production assemblies.

• High school diploma or GED
• Must hold all current certifications of the manufacturing specialist position
• Understand the installation, assembly and basic operating principles of electronic, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components and equipment.
• Must understand electronics fundamentals
• Must be able to diagnose wiring problems
• Ability to apply standard electronic shop theory, practices and procedures to problem solving
• Basic understanding of electromechanical equipment and electrical devices such as connectors, relays circuit breakers, motors, contactors, lighting circuits, power motor equipment, etc.
