Job Summary:

Our CPA firm is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting, exceptional analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients. This role involves overseeing financial activities, preparing complex financial reports, and supporting the firm’s ongoing growth and client success.  This is an on-site position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with applicable standards.
• Conduct audits and reviews for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide tax planning and preparation for individuals and businesses.
• Oversee the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategies.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for junior accounting staff.
• Collaborate with clients to resolve accounting and financial reporting issues.
• Stay current with regulatory changes and industry trends.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
• 3+ years of public accounting experience, including auditing and tax preparation.
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
