About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor – Analytical to lead night-shift QC laboratory operations in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
This role will manage day-to-day laboratory activities, ensure timely completion of routine testing and stability work, oversee QC documentation and quality systems, and provide leadership to laboratory staff. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical QC experience with hands-on supervisory leadership, technical troubleshooting, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and schedule night-shift QC laboratory operations to ensure on-time testing and compliance with cGMP requirements
  • Oversee routine analytical testing, stability activities, data review, and laboratory documentation
  • Review and approve QC documentation and support effective laboratory quality systems
  • Drive investigations, troubleshooting, CAPA, and deviation reduction initiatives
  • Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives across laboratory processes
  • Support regulatory and customer audits and ensure ongoing inspection readiness
  • Hire, mentor, develop, and manage QC staff while promoting a safe, collaborative, and high-performing work environment
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
  • 5–10 years of cGMP laboratory or Quality Control experience
  • 2+ years of direct supervisory or people-management experience
  • Strong experience managing analytical laboratory operations in a regulated environment
  • Experience with GMP quality systems such as TrackWise, LIMS, DMS, or electronic laboratory notebooks
  • Strong ability to prioritize laboratory workload and manage competing testing demands
  • Experience troubleshooting analytical methods and instrumentation using data analysis and trending
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-development skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline
  • Master's degree or PhD
  • Experience supporting stability programs
  • Experience leading CAPA, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience supporting regulatory or customer audits
  • Experience implementing or improving laboratory systems and processes

Compensation
The anticipated base salary for this position is up to $105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
This position also includes a night-shift differential and an annual target bonus, along with applicable employee benefits.
