About the Role
We are seeking an Assembly Technician II to support mechanical and electronic assembly operations in a manufacturing environment.
This role will assemble, inspect, test, and troubleshoot components and finished products while following detailed work instructions, blueprints, and quality standards. Experience with optical bonding equipment is highly desirable. Soldering experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical and electronic assembly using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
  • Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
  • Inspect assembled components and finished products for quality and specification compliance
  • Perform functional testing and troubleshoot assembly or equipment issues
  • Maintain accurate production, test, and assembly documentation
  • Support inventory tracking and ensure required parts, tools, and materials are available
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and contribute to process and quality improvements
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures
  • Basic understanding of electrical or electronic components
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with optical bonding equipment
  • Mechanical assembly experience
  • Electronics assembly experience
  • Technical certification or vocational training in a related field
  • Experience with functional testing and quality inspection
  • Previous experience supporting continuous improvement activities

Compensation
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $18.00–$19.00/hr, based on experience and qualifications.
