Job Description
Contract Length: 6 months
Job Summary: Lead and engage in the design, testing and implementation of power system model changes to the Energy Management System (EMS) with focus on power system applications, including power flow, state estimation, contingency analysis, SCADA, communications and markets applications.

Job Summary: Lead and engage in the design, testing and implementation of power system model changes to the Energy Management System (EMS) with focus on power system applications, including power flow, state estimation, contingency analysis, SCADA, communications and markets applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement power system modifications to the New England EMS transmission model
- Review system projects with System Planning, Operations Planning and Local Control Center (LCC) staff to identify projects, risk and priority assessment and identify those that require inter-departmental coordination.
- Providing subject matter expertise for EMS transmission security applications and their interface with market applications
- Coordinate staging of power system modifications to the EMS and Market systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power System Engineering
- Demonstrated ability to scope and review transmission project reports, with focus to assess, develop and communicate model requirements
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
