Job Summary: This person will manage purchasing activities, vendor relationships, and contribute to both budget management and internal job costing.

Job Summary: This person will manage purchasing activities, vendor relationships, and contribute to both budget management and internal job costing.
Responsibilities:
- Process purchase orders for R&D components and supplies
- Notify engineering when their parts are complete and ready for pickup
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as engineering, production, and quality assurance, to understand their requirements and ensure smooth operations
- Assist in managing the machine shop's purchasing budget
- Create and maintain detailed purchase order records
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, Arena, Jira, Rootstock, SalesForce) is a plus.
