Contract Length:  6 months; hybrid schedule

Job Summary:  This person will be responsible for providing support to Line of Business Stakeholders to review purchase requests and provide timely administration of contract requests where required.

  • Accountable for proactively identifying the most appropriate path for a given transaction (purchasing channel) while balancing the procurement, legal and reviewing department needs.
  • Conduct purchasing activities for low-risk commodities.
  • Support contract process and management activities and enforce organizational principles of integrity and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Line of Business, Category Managers and reviewing departments (e.g. Data Privacy, Safety, Quality, Risk, Tax, Regulatory, Legal, etc.) to ensure efficient handling of requests.
  • Provide timely support to inquiries relating to contracts and assist with training users on recurring issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred. Relevant work experience may be substituted where appropriate.
  • 3 years of demonstrated purchasing or buying experience.
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry with focus on Contract processes and procedures
  • Effective time management skill
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
  • Familiarity with Coupa or other purchasing/contracting tools, SAP and DocuSign
