Job Description

Contract Length:  1 year with possible extension; hybrid position

Job Summary:  This person will be responsible for fulfilling day to day operational background check queries and address any issues that arise.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Review multi-faceted background reports to ensure compliance with processes and State/Federal regulations.
  • Partner with background check provider to escalate issues or delays.
  • Log and update daily background reports for new hires.
  • Escalate background issues or queries
  • Ensure compliance with retention and privacy policies.

Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree required or 2-4 years of HR experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR related experience required with 1-2 years employee relations or background administration.
  • Prior experience working with applicant tracking system
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with sensitive and/or confidential information
  • Strong working knowledge of federal, state, provincial requirements related to HR, Employment Law and Talent Acquisition
