Overview: The SAN System Engineer supports all of the infrastructure in our manufacturing division's site redundant Data Centers, with specific focus on the HP/EVA storage servers and the associated operating systems; HP Blade and Citrix Presentation servers are included within the site operations, as well as Windows operating systems and Active Directory. Large Enterprise experience with MS clustering technologies would be preferred. You will have a key role in the delivery of a state of the art IT infrastructure for our most important manufacturing division! ~ BS/CS or equivalent experience
~ 5 yrs in a technical role administrating High Availability IT SAN infrastructure HP/EVA platform, (i.e.) Dual Datacenters, Enterprise SAN implementation/administration experience, SAN Fabric and Host management.
~ Experience with HP / EVA Platforms Server builds and configuration both physical and virtual (HP Blade, Rack Servers, Citrix and/or VMware)
~ Working knowledge of server consolidation/blade server solutions (i.e.) MS Clustering and server technologies (Win2003/2008), Active Directory, & Citrix Presentation 4/4.5 a plus!
~ Experience with enterprise infrastructure monitoring & alert technologies (i.e.) SNMP, HP Openview a plus!
~ Oracle Database experience is an advantage!
