Database administration of SQL Server including installation, backup/recovery, security, and maintenance

Implement business logic, manage SQL stored procedures, triggers and database scripts

SQL Server performance tuning and troubleshooting applications

Database design, analysis, troubleshooting and SQL scripting among other database maintenance

Develop appropriate data base and project application documentation as required.

Assist in Application/System and data base design.

Design, develop and administer the planned corporate Sharepoint data repository.

5+ years experience with SQL Server 2000/2005 are a must

Extensive experience in designing, supporting and troubleshooting databases

Microsoft DBA certification required

Strong demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint

Good understanding of SQL Server Clustering, T-SQL and related database tools

Experience configuring and supporting server hardware and windows operating system a plus

Networking service system administration is a plus

Working knowledge of IBM DB2 and Oracle data bases is a major plus.

Strong PC application skills (MS Word, Powerpoint, Visio (or other flowcharting tools), Excel)

Strong analytical mindset (ability to break down processes into discreet steps)

Minimum of a 2 year degree (bachelor's degree strongly preferred)
