Key Functions:

The Windows Administrator will work as a leader and/or individual contributor (as assigned) on project tasks related to the server-side implementation, administration, monitoring, and general maintenance of systems infrastructure and operation of corporate Windows servers in a multi-tiered environment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Participating in the development, distribution, documentation, communication and presentation of project plans as required.
  
• Windows 2003, EMC Clariion SAN devices, Intel server platforms, BMC Patrol system management software, Symantec Anti-Virus software, CommVault and various other utilities.
  
• Will support the user community as it pertains to server related issues as well as contribute to the development of company's enterprise architecture.
  
• Work with, and educate, the growth of junior and mid-level team members.
  

Required Education/Experience:

• BS or MS and/or equivalent.
  
• Strong in the Windows Administration 2000/2003 versions of the operating system
  
• Microsoft based enterprise class applications deployment is required
  
• Must have strong system administration skills
  
• A demonstrated history of project leadership and planning skills is required.
  
• Working experience with CommVault data backup product, and/or BMC Patrol is a plus
  
• Experience with Windows Clustering and SAN technology are highly desirable
  
• Working experience with support of Windows based mobility platforms (Blackberry, GoodLink) is desired
  
• Experience working within a larger company (50+ servers, 1000+employees) is strongly preferred
  
• MCSE preferred
