Responsible for day to day monitoring of Network Intrusion Detection, Host Intrusion Detection, and Network Intrusion Prevention tools used by the security operations team for protecting the corporate network and computer and network infrastructure. Upon detection of possible security incident, conduct level I data mining, data analytics, and data visualization in order to quickly assess security impact to organization. Work with operations management to provide course of action plan for resolving security incident. Additional responsibilities include providing input in the areas of sensor tuning, threat assessment, and standard operating procedures.
